Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Poker Tiling Manager uses personal information when you subscribe to, activate, use, or request support for the software.
1. Information we use
We use your email address, a securely hashed version of your password, licence and subscription status, a generated device identifier and device name, sign-in security information including a short-lived keyed hash of the connecting IP address, limited billing records such as Stripe checkout, customer and subscription references, currency, amount, renewal status and payment status, and compatibility-report details you choose to submit such as client versions, Windows version and a description of the problem. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the sign-in throttle table, and inactive throttle records are removed after approximately 48 hours.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to provide and bill for your subscription, create and protect your account, bind a licence to an authorised device, prevent unauthorised sharing, validate sessions, respond to support and cancellation requests, understand aggregate website usage, monitor service reliability and compatibility, prevent credential-stuffing and deliberate account lockouts, and meet legal obligations.
3. Optional player-name lookup
On PokerStars, PartyPoker, ACR/WPN, 888poker and iPoker, you may set Ctrl+click to Disabled, Copy names, or Sharkscope search. When enabled, the Windows app checks the accessibility label at the deliberately clicked point or reads a small in-memory image around it using Windows' local text recognition. Ordinary table clicks are ignored. To correct ambiguous PokerStars lettering, the app may also read player names from recent PokerStars hand-history and notes files, plus recent PokerTracker-processed PokerStars histories when present. For iPoker, the app reads only player-name fields from a bounded set of recent local tournament-history files associated with the clicked table, to resolve ambiguous lettering. Those local files are read only, are never changed by Poker Tiling Manager, and are used solely to identify the deliberately clicked name. 888poker uses repeated local image reads and does not inspect an 888poker hand-history folder. The image, click location and locally read names stay on your PC and are not saved by or uploaded to Poker Tiling Manager. Copy names mode places the cleaned name only in your Windows clipboard and does not send it to an external service. Sharkscope search mode also opens a fixed SharkScope player-search address in your default browser, which supplies the clicked player name to SharkScope; SharkScope handles that visit under its own terms and privacy notice. Disabled mode performs no player-name lookup. All player-name lookup modes remain unavailable for GGPoker and CoinPoker.
4. Payments
Payments and recurring billing are processed by Stripe. Poker Tiling Manager does not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy notice.
5. Storage and security
The Windows app remembers whether you completed or skipped its tutorial using a local account-specific hashed key and a completion or skipping marker. This preference is separate from saved layouts, is not uploaded, and is not used for analytics. You can replay the instructions from Support → Tutorial. Clearing local app data may cause the tutorial to appear again.
Licence, subscription and submitted compatibility-report records are stored in managed hosted storage. Passwords are salted and hashed; active sessions use signed time-limited tokens; web account sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. To keep the Windows app signed in, a device-bound renewal credential is encrypted locally using Windows DPAPI. The server stores hashed renewal credentials linked to your account and device, not the plaintext credential or your password. These credentials renew during successful licence checks and expire after 30 days without renewal. Signing out removes the local credential and requests server revocation; account revocation and device resets also invalidate remembered access. Monitoring alerts contain operational details and report references rather than passwords, licence tokens or payment-card information. No security system is infallible, but access is restricted and reasonable safeguards are used.
The optional Remember email and password checkbox is off by default. If enabled, the Windows app stores your email and password in a separate Windows-DPAPI-encrypted file on your PC after a successful sign-in, so it can fill the login form next time. The password stays masked in the form. This local copy is not uploaded or included in our server backups. Uncheck the option on the login screen to delete the saved details; signing out alone does not delete details you chose to remember. Use this option only on your own private Windows account.
6. Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the product, including payment and hosting providers, or when required by law. Personal information is not sold.
7. Retention
Account, subscription, transaction and support records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, support customers, maintain security and compatibility, and meet accounting or legal requirements. Records that are no longer required may be deleted or anonymised.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to uses of your personal information. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
9. Website analytics and cookies
The public website uses first-party aggregate analytics to count page views, checkout starts and downloads and to understand broad country, referral-domain and campaign totals. It does not store raw IP addresses, set analytics or advertising cookies, create persistent visitor identifiers, fingerprint devices or track people across other websites. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honoured. When you sign in on the website, a strictly necessary secure session cookie is used so the site can recognise your account.
