Open PokerStars tables in the desktop client as usual. Poker Tiling Manager recognises visible table windows, leaves the lobby alone and fills sections across your connected monitors in the priority order you choose.
Exactly what the software does
PokerStars support combines automatic table-window placement with an optional Ctrl+click player lookup. Choose Disabled, Copy names, or Sharkscope search from RNG & Session.
Table windows, not the lobby
Visible PokerStars windows identified as tables are arranged. Common lobby, cashier, settings, tournament-information, hand-history and replayer windows are excluded.
A destination for each table
New tables take the first free destination in your priority list. Use equal tiles or precise coordinates and sizes for a custom multi-table setup.
Stacks and partial overlaps
Layout sections may overlap, so you can keep a main table fully visible and arrange lower-priority tables behind or around it.
Player lookup choice
Copy names keeps the recognised name in your Windows clipboard. Sharkscope search also opens the matching PokerStars player page in your default browser. Version 0.9.18 checks individual OCR readings against available local histories or notes before comparing them, and prefers records for the specific table where available. Recent PokerTracker-processed PokerStars histories can also provide exact spellings. These files are read only and stay on your PC. OCR can still confuse similar characters: check the name before relying on a search.
Manual table reassignment
Drag a table so its centre enters another section and the manager treats that as its new destination, swapping the occupant when needed.
Window management only
The integration does not read cards, make decisions, click poker controls or automate play. It manages Windows positions and the optional local clipboard action.
From installation to a working layout

Start the PokerStars desktop client
Sign in to PokerStars and open at least one real or play-money table. Keep the lobby open wherever you prefer; it is not part of the tiling layout.

Review your poker screens
Choose or create a named layout. Select a display under New section screen and click Add section for each table destination. Use Edit view to focus on one screen or show all connected displays.

Drag, resize and prioritise
Move sections between monitors, resize them with the lower-right handle or enter exact per-screen X, Y, width and height values. Put the most important position at the top of the priority list.

Enable tiling and test
Click Enable table tiling, open a second PokerStars table and confirm that it fills the next section. On RNG & Session choose a lookup mode, then hold Ctrl and click directly on a clearly labelled player name.
Windows and monitor requirements
- 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 with the current PokerStars desktop client.
- .NET 8 Desktop Runtime and a visible PokerStars desktop table. Recognition uses supported client, title and window-class signals; an English table title is not required.
- At least one Windows display; select the target display in the app. 1920×1080 or larger is recommended for four or more readable tables.
- An active Poker Tiling Manager subscription. One paid account activates on one Windows user/device.
Common problems
PokerStars is open but zero tables are detected
The lobby is deliberately ignored. Open an actual table and make sure it is visible rather than minimised. If a client update changed the table title, install the newest Poker Tiling Manager release and contact support with the exact title shown in the Windows taskbar.
The player name is not copied
Install the latest release and set Player lookup to Copy names or Sharkscope search rather than Disabled. Hold Ctrl and click directly on the letters in a visible name, not the avatar or chip amount, when no action label covers it. Local PokerStars hand histories can help verify exact spellings. If several recorded names are equally plausible, the app opens no search rather than selecting one arbitrarily.
Why is Ctrl required?
Ctrl makes the copy action deliberate. Poker clients render names and controls as graphics, so ordinary Fold, Check, Raise and other gameplay clicks must never trigger clipboard recognition.
A table keeps moving back
Move the centre of the window into a different layout section, or drag it fully outside the layout if you want to exclude it temporarily. Turn tiling off before making unrestricted manual changes.
A supported table is still missing?
In Table Tiling, choose Add missing table, select the actual playing window and choose Add selected table. Never select a lobby. This manual selection lasts until that window or PTM closes and enables tiling only, not player-name lookup. You can also open Table detection diagnostics from Support and use Copy safe report to help investigate an unrecognised client format.
Recognition includes localised title markers and client-specific checks, but not every language, theme or client version has been tested. Send a compatibility report if the problem persists.
